Fall "Free-fresh" Project - What to wear this Fall that is already in your closet!

A friend of mine challenged me to help her get ready for Fall utilizing what she already had in her closet! Knowing that I have a love for closets, I jumped at the idea. So meet Sarah, she is a dear friend of mine, who also happens to work with me and also happens to be a workout buddy as well! When I asked her what her Fall go to outfit was, her response was leggings and a sweater (and PSL), but after out afternoon together she has some new looks to add to her Fall wardrobe.

We spent a Sunday afternoon pulling items from her closet that is she is not currently wearing and styling them for the perfect Fall looks. Here are the top 5 outfits that I styled for Sarah and sharing some tips for you on how to style new Fall looks that you already have in your closet!

Bring on the fur vests! Sarah had this stunning black fur vest that was underutilized in her closer. I styled this for her over a sheer button down and dark denim for a stylist night out. She wore a stylish pair of flats to tie together this look.

Leopard Print Mania!  I am a huge fan of leopard print for Fall. The mixing of the brown and black colors instantly add chic to any outfit. For this look, I layered an olive vest over chambray top and leopard print scarf for Sarah. This was an instantly Fall chic outfit with her booties!

Utility Jackets are the most verstaile Fall pieces. I love pairing a utility jacket over a feminine top like a floral print. Throw over some booties and this look is perfect for any Fall day.

Layers & a spin on a Canadian tuxedo! Sarah was not always a fan of denim on denim. So I layered a floral printed chambray top on top of a thermal to add more contrast to the denim pants. To add to this comfortable casual look, she wore glitter slip on sneakers.

When in doubt, go with plaid & booties Sarah had this plaid draped cardigan that we layered over a white floral top. What is Fall without a plaid and booties look.
