Recapping my lovely Thanksgiving trip to NYC with you all and of course what I wore. Thanksgiving day was beautiful in NYC - it was around 61 degrees and sunny! The weather all fell downhill from there for the rest of my trip but at least we had one nice day. My entire family gathered at my parents house and it was so nice catching up with everyone over some great food. I wore a backless sweater from Express on this adorable mini black floral skirt from Forever 21. The skirt was a total steal from Forever21, the detail and suede adds such a luxe look without the price tag. Unfortunately, the skirt is no longer in stock but I linked a few of my current fav mini black skirts that are in stock from Forever 21. To accessorize my look, I added a little sparkly gem necklace and a bow Kate Spade clutch. You can shop my entire look below!
I spent an additional 3 days after the holiday weekend in NYC. It was filled with catching up with friends and family, 30th birthday surprises (more to come on this) and of course shopping! This city has my heart and no matter how cold it gets there, I feel its magic especially this time of the year. On my shopping trips, I caught this year's christmas decorations that the department stores had in their windows. Macy*s had a Peanuts movie theme this year in their store windows and their first floor decorations were a whimsical forest. If you have never seen any of these windows, they are AH-MAZING. Usually very interactive and always a different theme each year. The first floor of Macy*s were decked out in silver garland, big twirling ornaments & trees with large squirrels that were wiggling their tails. I tried to capture the decor on my iPhone since B was not with me to take photos, it does not do the decor justice but I will share it anyway.
